This December 16th, I couldn’t be more thrilled to play the opening set at Antone’s for Adam Curry’s Boostagram Ball Live!
I’ll be opening the show at 7 pm (doors at 6pm) by premiering a new, never-before-heard tune, then I’ll invite SOB and the Dangs to the stage to play Voodoo Queen (take a listen here) and warm up the room with funky original jams.
We’ll be sharing the stage with 5 bands, including our friends Ainsley Costello, Just Loud, FM Rodeo, as well as surprise Special Guests. Leading up to the show, I’m interviewing fellow artists (including artists that we can’t yet announce publicly, but trust me when I say they’re incredible).
Hosted by the Podfather himself, Adam Curry, the concert will take place at the legendary and historic Antone’s Nightclub in Austin, where Stevie Ray Vaughan first exploded onto the music scene. (In case you don’t know, Adam Curry is host of the hit “No Agenda” podcast, one-time MTV VJ, and recurring guest on Joe Rogan. He also just so happens to live down the road in hill country.)

Quick story about how this happened…
After uploading my album to the “valueverse” on a whim in June, Swamp Thing came alive with 8 original tunes hitting the WavLake Top 40, with Swamp Thing hitting #1 on Wavlake and Live While I’m Alive hitting #1 on Fountain.fm.
The next month at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, I was fortunate enough to join the party at Bands at Bitcoin and meet the good people building Wavlake, Fountain, Tunestr, and the value-for-value ecosystem. Seeing Ainsley Costello, Just Loud, Joe Martin, and many other top V4V artists perform made me think that we needed a similar event and concert in Austin.
SOB and the Dangs has also been rocking the V4V Top 40 Charts, and I’m excited to carry this momentum forward by bringing their talent to the Independent Music Summit and the highly-anticipated Showcase at Antone’s!
I’m beyond grateful to Adam Curry, Jim Costello, Heather Larson, Mike Neumann, Randy Black, Chris Fisher, Salty Crayon, and many other V4V DJ’s who are pros at finding and featuring independent artists, none of this would be possible without you.
